Asking nay actor about their "dream roles" is a pretty easy conversation starter. But that conversation is different and loaded for actors who aren't white/cis/non-disabled.
Join us for an all-star program featuring actors of color, trans actors, and actors with disabilities performing songs from their "whitelist" of dream roles that they will likely never have the opportunity to play.
Featuring the boundless talents and dreams of:

As more film and theater companies produce work telling the stories of transgender and gender non-conforming people, we still all too often hear casting directors claim, "we couldn't find any trans talent!' Trans* Voices Cabaret is an opportunity for NYC's trans, gender non-conforming and non-binary singers and performers to take the stage and say, "Here we are!"
Conceived by Donnie Cianciotto, Trans* Voices Cabaret is a celebration of the diversity of our community. Cast list coming soon!
